Kasabian UK arena tour support act announced as Slaves

The band will play 12 area shows across the UK in November and December.

The support act for Kasabian's upcoming UK arena tour has been announced as Slaves.

The rock band are playing 12 shows across the UK this November and December in support of their latest album For Crying Out Loud.

Punk rock duo Slaves, made up of Kent-born musicians Laurie Vincent and Isaac Holman, are special guests for all the shows.

The pair have released two albums to date, both of which have peaked inside the Official Albums Chart Top 10. Their 2015 debut, Are You Satisfied?, was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize.

Kasabian's UK tour kicks off on November 24 at Newcastle's Metro Arena and includes two shows at London's O2 Arena on December 1 and 2, plus two at the Birmingham Barclaycard Arena. 

Official Charts recently announced Kasabian's latest album was the UK's best-selling album on cassette in 2017. Reacting to the news, Serge Pizzorno told OfficialCharts.com: "That's the best thing I've ever heard. It's quite psychedelic, isn't it? That's put a big smile on my face." Read the full story here.
