Kaiser Chiefs announce UK tour dates

The Leeds based chart toppers will play two UK gigs next year.

After their recent chart success with Official Albums Chart Number 1 Education, Education, Education & War, Kaiser Chiefs have announced two 2015 UK tour dates.

The band, who are currently on tour in Europe, will play London’s O2 Arena before a homecoming performance at Leeds’ First Direct Arena, in February next year.

Fresh from his stint as a Mentor on BBC’s The Voice, frontman Ricky Wilson commented, "the last few months have been great, we're enjoying playing the new album and getting our songs ready for our festival slots and then to top it off - we get to start next year at the O2!".

Tickets go on sale April 25 at 9am and will be available from all usual outlets.

Chart Facts

Kaiser Chiefs have scored 11 UK Official Singles Chart Top 40 hits, with Ruby hitting the Number 1 spot when it was released, back in 2007.

Prior to their current album, Education, Education, Education & War, hitting the Official Albums Chart Number 1 spot earlier this month, Kaiser Chiefs’ previous five studio albums have all entered the Top 40, although 2007’s Yours Truly Angry Mob, was the band’s only other Number 1.
