Justin Timberlake holds onto Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart for a second week running with The 20/20 Experience.

Depeche Mode’s Delta Machine is held off the top of the Official Albums Chart as Justin Timberlake makes it a second week at Number 1 with The 20/20 Experience.

With just 4,000 copies separating the two acts on Wednesday’s Official Chart Update, it was looking like a closely fought battle for this week’s Official Albums Chart crown, but Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience eventually pulled away to end the week almost two copies to one ahead of the competition.

Returning electro-pop pioneers Depeche Mode’s thirteenth studio album, Delta Machine finishes the week in second place, equalling the chart position of their last studio album - 2009’s Sounds Of The Universe.

This week’s Official Albums Chart Top 5 is completed by David Bowie’s The Next Day (Number 3), Emeli Sande’s Our Version Of Events (Number 4), and Bruno Mars Unorthodox Jukebox (Number 5).

In addition to Depeche Mode (Number 2) there are eight other new entries on this week’s Official Albums Chart.

Simple Minds’ new Greatest Hits collection, Celebrate, is at Number 19, and Joe Bonamassa is new in at 23 with his latest release, An Acoustic Evening At The Vienna Opera.
