Midweek leaders Imagine Dragons are held off the top of the Official Albums Chart by Justin Timberlake’s The 20/20 Experience.
It was looking like a potential debut chart topper for Las Vegas rockers Imagine Dragons earlier in the week, but as the final buzzer sounded, Justin Timberlake managed to claw his way back to snatch the Official Albums Chart Number 1 spot for a third week running.
JT’s The 20/20 Experience pipped the indie four-piece to the prize by less than 3,000 copies. Following the success of recent Top 40 singles, Radioactive and Hear Me, Imagine Dragons land a very respectable Number 2 with debut album Night Visions, finishing ahead of British metallers Bring Me The Horizon’s Sempiternal (Number 3).
David Bowie’s The Next Day and Bastille’s Bad Blood are at Number 4 and 5.

In addition to Imagine Dragons (Number 2) and Bring Me The Horizon (3), there are six other new entries on this week’s Official Albums Chart.
