Justin Bieber makes US chart history yet again
Just when you think Justin Bieber must be running out of chart records to break, he's done it again!
His former Number 1 Love Yourself has now made US chart history – spending its first 22 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10. This smashes a record set by Justin himself earlier this year, when Sorry debuted in the Top 10 and spent 21 consecutive weeks there.
Meanwhile, Rihanna's Work spends a ninth week at Number 1, with her old mate Drake. This feat means Rihanna moves ahead of the Beatles when it comes to total number of weeks spent at Number 1 in the US singles' countdown. RiRi's currently on 60 weeks at the top – but the only star standing in her way for the all-time record is a pretty formidable one. Mariah Carey is the one to beat; she's racked up an amazing 79 weeks at Number 1 on the Hot 100.
Rihanna's position at the top is under threat – Desiigner's Panda has seen sales soar 27 per cent, and is poised for a takeover at Number 2.
Over on the albums' countdown, Lumineers match their UK chart feat by topping the Billboard 200 with second album Cleopatra. Deftones score their highest charting album in the US since 2003, with Gore starting at Number 2.
