Justin Bieber has made history on the US Billboard charts, becoming the first solo male to debut at Number 1 on the Hot 100 songs chart and the 200 albums chart simultaneously, with Peaches ft. Daniel Caesar and Giveon and his new album Justice.

As reported by Billboard, Peaches becomes Justin's seventh US Number 1 single this week - and just the 50th song to debut at the top of the chart - while Justice is his eighth chart-topping album.

Justin's previous US Number 1 singles are: What Do You Mean?, Sorry, Love Yourself, I'm the One (with DJ Khaled, Quavo, Chance the Rapper & Lil Wayne), Despacito (with Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee), and Stuck With U (with Ariana Grande).

Across all acts, Justin joins only BTS and Taylor Swift in having debuted at Number 1 on both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 simultaneously. BTS scored the chart double last December with Be (album) and Life Goes On (single), while Taylor having achieved the feat twice, with Folklore (album) and Cardigan (single) and Evermore (album) and Willow (single) last year.

And the feats don't stop there: all 13 songs from Justice enter this week's Hot 100, taking his total of US singles chart entries to 98 - the 11th most entries of all time, overtaking Eminem and James Brown.

In the UK, Justice debuted at Number 2 on last week's Official Albums Chart, behind Lana Del Rey's Chemtrails Over The Country Club, while Peaches landed at Number 3.
