Jung Kook tops Official Trending Chart with Seven ft. Latto
The BTS star goes it alone to claim the UK's biggest Trending track
King Jung Kook scales up to the top of the Official Trending Chart to claim the Number 1 Trending Song in the UK right now with Seven ft. Latto.
The debut solo single from the BTS member, Seven is a flirty, flighty track with production heavily influenced by UK garage (you can certainly take the track's hook as a homage to Craig David's classic Seven Days) which comes courtesy of some of the biggest US pop producers working today, watt (Rita Ora, Miley Cyrus) and Cirkut (The Weeknd, Ava Max).
Currently, Seven is on track for this week's highest new entry on the Official Singles Chart it would become the first Top 10 single for both Jung Kook (his collaboration with Charlie Puth, Left and Right, peaked at Number 41 last year) and Latto (surprisingly, the super-charged Big Energy with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled only managed a peak of Number 21).

Elsewhere, Billie Eilish gives Barbie an existential crisis to be proud of on What Was I Made For? another new entry on the Trending Chart this week, alongside two tracks from J Hus's new album Beautiful and Brutal Yard, which is heading for Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart (Militerian ft. Naira Marley & Masculine ft. Burna Boy), Troye Sivan's unashamedly queer house anthem Rush and Becky Hill's latest single from her forthcoming second album, Disconnect, which sees her team up with drum'n'bass legends Chase & Status.
