Juice WRLD’s Legends Never Die secures second week as Ireland’s Number 1 album

Ellie Goulding and The Chicks take out new entries this week.

Juice WRLD takes out a second week at Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with his posthumous album Legends Never Die.

The most streamed album for a second straight week, Legends Never Die is the 30th rap album and the 13th posthumous offering to reach Number 1 in Ireland. Juice WRLD retained the top spot by 580 chart sales.

Former Number 1 Rough and Rowdy Ways from Bob Dylan rebounds 16 places to Number 2 following its vinyl release, while Ellie Goulding claims this week’s highest new entry with Brightest Blue at Number 9, marking her fourth consecutive Top 10 album in Ireland.

Country legends The Chicks – formerly The Dixie Chicks – are new at Number 20 with their first album for 14 years Gaslighter. Joy Division are new at Number 31 with their second album Closer which has been reissued on vinyl for its 40th anniversary.

Finally, US rapper and comedian Oliver Tree blooms at Number 38 with new entry Ugly Is Beautiful.
