Today, Jax Jones gains the Number 1 Trending Song in the UK as Where Did You Go ft. MNEK tops the Official Trending Chart.

It comes as the track - inspired by the Eurodance tracks of the late 90s and early 00s - looks set to reach another new peak on the Official Singles Chart this week, currently up to Number 12 in our midweek sales flash.

In an interview with OfficialCharts.com, Jax says of the track: ""I've been trying to push myself to make something different. It's super-exciting, but also nerve-wracking. I don't think this sounds like anything you hear right now."

Can Where Did You Go? finally break into the Top 10 next week?

Elsewhere on the Official Trending Chart this week, we have another high riser in the form of George Ezra's Anyone For You. The lead single from George's upcoming third album Gold Rush Kid, the perky acoustic number reached yet another new peak last Friday - climbing week on week so far.

This week's biggest climber comes courtesy of DJ Regard and Years & Years, who jump more than 20 spots with their new link-up Hallucination. The first release from Olly Alexander since his album Night Call hit Number 1, it could become Regard's third UK Top 40 single and Olly's 11th.

We also have new entries this week from Central Cee with Straight Back To It from his second mixtape 23, BRIT award-winning pop star Becky Hill who teams up with Swedish production duo Galantis for the high-throttle Run and Florence + The Machine's singular return to form, King

The final new entry on the Trending Chart comes from Mura Masa, recruiting US rapper Lil Uzi Vert and this year's BBC Sound Of 2022 winner PinkPantheress for the nostalgic Bbycakes.
