Jason Derulo's Want To Want Me set to continue reign over the Official Singles Chart
Plus there are new entries in the Top 40 from the likes of Zedd, Leona Lewis and Rudimental.
It seems the British music-buying public can’t get enough of Jason Derulo; his latest single Want To Want Me is set to continue its reign at Number 1 this week.
While Jason continues to lead the way on today’s Official Chart Update, Walk The Moon are on course for this week’s highest new entry with Shut Up & Dance, which enters the Top 40 at Number 5 following its full download release. The indie pop band’s track is proving a success across the globe, having already charted in the Top 10 in America, Australia and Canada.
Elsewhere in the Top 5, OMI’s Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix) climbs a place to Number 2, Major Lazer FT Mo and DJ Snake’s Lean On is at 3 and Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s Where Are U Now is at 4.
New entries and high climbers
Electro-dance producer Zedd is on course to land his third Top 40 hit with his Selena Gomez collaboration I Want You To Know, which starts at Number 7. The DJ last entered the Top 10 in February last year with Stay The Night FT Hayley Williams.
Meanwhile, Rixton enter at Number 14 with We All Want The Same Thing. The song serves as the third single from their debut album Let The Road, which is out next week.
Further down the chart, Leona Lewis lands at Number 24 with Fire Under My Feet, DJ Fresh is on track for his tenth Top 40 hit this week with his Adam F collaboration Believer (Number 33), and Rudimental’s Never Let You Go FT Foy Vance vaults 31 places to enter the Top 40 at 34.
