Janet Jackson is (finally) coming back to the UK!
The superstar's latest tour, Together Again, will be the first time she's performed here since her Legends Slot at Glastonbury in 2019, and for one of the best and most successful pop stars of all time (look at the material!!) it's been a long time coming.
The worldwide tour is being staged to celebrate 50 years (!) of Jackson's storied career, as well as the 35th anniversary of her breakthrough third album, Control which set her on the path for pop superstardom that, at its peak, rivalled even her brother Michael for its consistency and reach (although, we are loath to point out, Jackson has for some reason never had a UK Number 1 single, which we need to have a country-wide referendum to sort out).
Fans coming to see Jackson live are certainly in for a treat - she's one of the most gifted performers of any generation, of course, but you're also getting a lot of bang for your buck. The Together Again show runs at over 2 hours long, squeezing a delectable 39 (!) songs into its run-time, including some of her most beloved hits like All For You, Escapade and Nasty.

just a note : Diamonds -the Herb Alpert hit from 1987 featured Janet on uncredited vocals. When i think of you is my favourite track by her.
