Janet Jackson documentary's trailer and UK release schedule have been unveiled
The documentary celebrating Janet Jackson's career will be shown across two nights.
A brand new trailer, and details about the UK air dates of the impending Janet Jackson documentary have been confirmed.
As previously revealed, the documentary was set to air at the end of January via Lifetime, and now it’s been confirmed that it's set to premiere in the UK on Sky Documentaries as two double bills over consecutive nights, with all four episodes available on NOW from Monday 31 January.
The icon discusses her career in her own words, along with a star-studded array of contributions from people including Randy Jackson, Tito Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Johnny Gill, Debbie Allen (Actress, co-star on Fame and friend), Paula Abdul, Missy Elliot, Mariah Carey, David Ritz (biographer), Samuel L Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg.

The four-hour documentary has been in the works for five years, and includes never-before-seen footage from Jackson’s professional and personal life. There’s also footage of Jackson discussing her 2004 Super Bowl performance with Justin Timberlake, her relationship with her late brother Michael, and more.
Janet executively produced the film alongside her brother Randy Jackson. The film was directed by Ben Hirsch.
Janet Jackson has racked up 38 UK Top 40 singles including 17 UK Top 10s, and six Top 10s on the Official Albums Chart, including a Number 1 with 1993's Janet. Her upcoming Black Diamond album - her first since 2015's Unbreakable - is also due at some point during 2022.
