Jamala wins Eurovision Song Contest 2016 for Ukraine
Australia finished in 2nd, with Russia in 3rd.
Jamala has won the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest for Ukraine.
Her song 1944 achieved 534 points in Stockholm earlier tonight, placing her ahead of Australia's Dami Im in second place, with Sergey Lazarev taking third place for Russia.

Last year's winner Måns Zelmerlöw was on hand to present the trophy due to his hosting duties alongside comedienne Petra Mede.
Jamala's win is the first since new rules meant that each country's jury votes and public votes were separated, ensuring more points than ever were up for grabs. Australia were top with the jury, but placed fourth in the viewer votes.
It is the 2nd time that Ukraine have won the contest, having won over Europe in 2004.

Alongside the fantastic performances and nail-biting results, Justin Timberlake took to the stage as the first ever non-competing Global Superstar guest. He lit up Europe with his new single Can't Stop The Feeling, which topped this past week's Official Trending Chart.
The 2017 Eurovision Song Contest is now set for Ukraine with next year's semi-finals taking place on May 16 and 18 and final on May 20, 2017.
