Jade Thirlwall announces new solo song IT girl
It's another taster for her solo album, due in 2025.

Big news – huge. JADE has confirmed that her next solo track will be IT girl. Over the weekend, the Little Mix member-turned-solo star changed her Instagram bio to read: "IT girl. Coming soon ⭐️💋"
On her Story, she shared a video of herself dancing to the song at her Fantasy-themed birthday party on Saturday night. As ever, JADE's costume was nothing short of iconic.
Of course, FANTASY is also the title of JADE's disco-fuelled second solo single, which entered at Number 52 in October. It followed on from the club-ready buzz track Midnight Cowboy and her dazzling, genre-smashing debut single Angel of My Dreams, which has spent 16 weeks in the Official Singles Chart, peaking at Number 7.
JADE's solo album is due next year and promises to be an eclectic and in places experimental pop record. "It took a really long time to do this album because I was finding myself and I was working with so many different people, which is quite exhausting, constantly going to these new rooms, bearing your soul every time,” JADE told The Face in October. “I think this album had to be a bit of a mismatch of songs. I was like, well, it should just reflect that chaos.”
JADE also said she has "pulled from all of my inspirations, from growing up with Diana Ross to clubbing", so it's set to be one of 2025's most infectious pop records. We absolutely cannot wait.
