JADE is definitely not stepping off the accelerator any time soon.
Less than a week after she dropped a new solo song, the experimental pop gem Midnight Cowboy, she has announced her next single proper.
It's called Fantasy, it's due on 18 October, and the artwork is just stunning. Another serve from the artist also known as Jade Thirlwall? It certainly looks like it.
JADE is still riding high on the Official Singles Chart with her debut solo single Angel of My Dreams, a genre-blurring, Sandie Shaw-sampling pop monster about her love/hate relationship with the music industry.
It dropped in July and has now spent 10 weeks in the Top 40, peaking so far at Number 7. Midnight Cowboy, which JADE co-wrote with RAYE, proved that characterful, catchy, risk-taking pop is very much her M.O. as a solo artist – it even features an intro from Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa.
Of course, JADE is no stranger to the Official Charts' upper echelons having scored 19 UK Top 10 singles including five Number 1s as a member of Little Mix. You can check out the group's Official Top 40 biggest songs in the UK here.
