Jack Harlow and Harry Styles enter close race for Number 1 this week

Can Jack score his first-ever UK Number 1 single with First Class?

jack-v-harry.jpg

Jack Harlow and Harry Styles have entered a very tight battle for Number 1 in the UK this week.

Kentucky rapper Jack is currently leading the charge at Number 1 with First Class (which samples Fergie’s Glamorous), which would become his first-ever chart-topper here.

But with less than 2,000 chart sales between the two  a week left, it’s still all to play for.

Can Harry and the record-setting As It Was close the gap? Keep your eyes peeled on OfficialCharts.com for all the updates.

Pink Floyd are on track to make a startling return to the Official Charts. Hey, Hey, Rise Up! featuring Ukrainian singer Andriy Khlyvnyuk could debut at Number 5. It would be the band’s first UK Top 10 single in 43 years - since Another Brick In The Wall hit Number 1 in 1979.

David Guetta, Ella Henderson and Becky Hill could also be on track for a Top 20 debut, with their collaborative single Crazy What Love Can Do currently at Number 16.

The Official Singles Chart Top 100 is revealed on OfficialCharts.com every Friday at 5.45pm. Follow the Top 40 countdown live on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart show with Scott Mills.

Pink Floyd debuted at #49, not #5 as quoted within this article.

I like Jack Harlow but that new song is terrible, I would genuinely give it a 1/10

I wasn’t paying attention to the Spotify chart or anything, how on earth did Jack Harlow end up Number 1? 💀

And why are Pink Floyd back? And why is the new song so bad?

So happy for PINK FLOYD...i don't like much the single but it is for good cause so that is a good thing!

I really want Harry to remain at number 1!! at least for a few more weeks...Surprised but so happy to see BECKY and ELLA at number 16 this week!! Really didn't expect to get their first collaboration single reaching that high..hopefully it won't drop by Friday!!

I'd like that single from Pink Floyd to remain in the top 10 until Friday! Love them!

Be interesting to see how it holds up through the week, hopefully it won't just be a big release day sales boost that decreases rapidly through the week. A lot of older artists seem to get that but Pink Floyd are pretty iconic

I’m really not a fan of it unfortunately

Not heard Pink Floyd's new song yet, but I hope it can continues selling well enough to make the Top 40 given that the proceeds for it are going to Ukraine! 🤞

That's a really promising start for 'Crazy What Love Can Do'! 😍

One of the best EDM collaborations of the year so far in my opinion. :)

One of the best tracks of the year tbh! Hope it can go top 10, especially for Ella!

Wow yeah just what Ella needed was a great DJ to make a track great and then add Becky Hill into the mix, was really hoping it would be top 20 today and now just hoping it can keep in there until friday

Yeah, hopefully it doesn't tank! Most EDM songs tend to slow burners rather than freefallers anyway, haha. :)

It's even contending for #1 in my next personal chart, haha. :)

I might not be the biggest rap fan in the community, but Jack Harlow really stands out to me right now!

Glad to see him at #1 here regardless of if he's still there on Friday. :)

Becoming a big trend now rapping over classic tracks, better than a cover version. I am liking this track too

Piran

I think I'd upgrade it to an 8/10 now, which is very high for a mainstream rap song coming from me! :D

Nice to see As It Was leaving the top spot, I can’t stand it. Also I’m completely obsessed with Crazy What Love Can Do at the minute so it’s amazing seeing it here!
