Gwen Stefani makes history with first live music video for TV with Make Me Like You
Gwen Stefani is pulling out all the stops for her latest single Make Me Like You after releasing the first ever live music video on television.
The star didn't make things easy for herself either, with multiple costume changes, sets, dance routines and even a roller-skating segment in the four minute visual. Watch below:
The music video - directed by longtime collaborator Sophie Muller - was unveiled/performed live during an ad break on the Grammys, meaning any slip up would have a.) been seen by millions and b.) be on record for life!
Acts that have achieved a similar (but not quite the same) feat include Death Cab For Cutie, who live streamed their You Are A Tourist video online in 2011, and R&B singer Erykah Badu released a visual for her song Phone Down live on Periscope.
Make Me Like You trails Stefani's third studio album This Is What The Truth Feels Like, which is released on March 18. The collection also includes recent release Used To Love You.
