Gracie Abrams holds on to Number 1, Myles Smith scores second Top 10 single
Myles Smith celebrates his second UK Top 10 single Nice To Meet You.
Gracie Abrams spends an eighth week at Number 1 in the UK with That’s So True, denying ROSÉ and Bruno Mars a coup.
At the finish line, just 1,100 chart units separate the Top 3, which is completed by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ APT (2) and Lola Young’s Messy (3).
2025 BRITs Rising Star winner Myles Smith scores his second UK Top 10 single in less than a year as Nice To Meet You surges seven to Number 6. Last year, Myles’s Stargazing peaked at Number 4, and was named the biggest single by a British act of 2024.
Reacting to the news, Myles Smith tells Official Charts:
“Two Top 10 singles in a year is something I don’t take for granted. I’m grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey and excited to keep pushing forward!"
Further down, Sabrina Carpenter’s Bed Chem (10) returns to the Top 10 for the first time since November, while Chappell Roan’s Pink Pony Club is also on the rebound, jumping six places back into the Top 20 (16).
With no hesitation on her part, TYLA’s bombastic PUSH 2 START hops up to a brand-new peak this week (23). The bright pop banger has spent no less than nine weeks at Number 1 on the Official Afrobeats Chart.
Huge congratulations are in order for US social media sensation Alex Warren, who has secured his highest-chart single in the UK. Carry You Home becomes this week’s highest climber, rocketing up 51 to Number 25. The single had previously peaked at Number 32 last year.
This week’s highest new entry comes courtesy of Hozier, whose affecting BBC Live Lounge cover of Arctic Monkeys’ Do I Wanna Know? from 2014 has recently gone viral and enters the Top 40 at Number 26 to become his fifth Top 40 single.
Doechii’s DENIAL IS A RIVER jumps eight (31), while I Always Wanted A Brother from Disney’s Lion King prequel Mufasa – performed by cast members Braelyn Rankins, Theo Somolu, Aaron Pierre and Kelvin Harrison Jr – makes its Top 40 debut, also vaulting eight to Number 34.
Influential British alt-pop touchstone Imogen Heap marks an extraordinary career first today, claiming her first-ever UK Top 40 singles entry as a solo artist with her track Headlock (37). Originally included in her 2005 LP Speak For Yourself, the track’s resurgence is thanks to its inclusion in the 2024 psychological horror game Mouthwashing. Heap’s uncredited vocals were previously included as the hook on Jason Derulo’s 2009 Top 3 single Whatcha Say, which used a sample of her 2005 track Hide and Seek.
Finally, huge congrats to rising US country singer Sam Barber, who earns his first UK Top 40 single, with Indigo climbing two to Number 39. The song also features vocalist Avery Anna.

Oh, come on. I'm getting tired of "That's So True" as I was hoping that either "Apt." or "Messy" was going to end the song's run since they were number one and two in the midweeks on Monday.

Glad to see Imogen Heap with her first Top 40 hit. Definitely one of the biggest chart moments of the year so far, at least for me!
