Glee star Lea Michele will preview her new album Places at a one-off gig in London this month
Places goes back to her musical theatre roots after her 2014 pop influenced debut.
Lea Michele is playing a one-off UK show this month in which she'll preview songs from her upcoming album.
The former Glee star will perform tracks from her new collection Places at London's Shoreditch Town Hall on Friday, April 21. Tickets go on sales on April 12 - more details of her official website.
The 11 track album will be released on April 28 and includes the previously released Love Is Alive as well as her new single Anything's Possible.
Lea has previously said that Places is a return to a musical theatre roots and is less pop influenced that her debut album Louder, which included the Sia-penned lead single Cannonball.
Discussing the record's title, Lea said it "represents a return to form, a return to the stage, and a return to the place I belong.
"When you perform on Broadway the word 'Places' is the last thing you hear over the loudspeaker before a show is about to begin. 'Places' I thought was the perfect title for this music and how it reflects who I am as an artist today and where I come from.”
Places follows her 2014 debut Louder, which reached the Top 20 on the Official UK Albums Chart and went Top 5 in America. See the full tracklisting below:
