Glass smashes the competition to take the Official Film Chart Number 1
The final instalment of M. Night Shyamalan’s anti-superhero trilogy, Glass, climbs to the top of the Official Film Chart this week, following its release on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Bringing back characters from Unbreakable and Split, Glass sees David Dunn (Bruce Willis) pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy) and his multiple personalities.
Bumblebee is knocked off the Number 1 spot for a second time, landing at Number 2; just ahead of How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World which flew to Number 3 on digital downloads only. The final instalment of the incredibly popular franchise sees Hiccup and Toothless seek out a secret dragon utopia, before a hired tyrant called Grimmel beats them to it.
Mary Queen Of Scots advances four places to Number 4, as does The Secret Life Of Pets which jumps to Number 6 following its sequel’s release in cinemas.
Finally, Lancaster Skies is this week’s second new entry at Number 10. A broken, solitary Spitfire ace must overcome his troubles to lead a Lancaster bomber crew in the pivotal 1944 aerial war over Berlin.
This week’s online show features a sneak peek at The LEGO® Movie 2, available on disc and digital from June 3:
