What a time to be a Girls Aloud fan. Not only is their much-anticipated The Girls Aloud Show reunion tour just around the corner, but we're also getting a load of previously-unreleased music very soon.
Following the success of their Sound of the Underground reissue last year, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Sarah Harding, Cheryl Tweedy and Nicola Roberts' second studio album, What Will The Neighbours Say?, will receive a deluxe re-release in March.
The group's 2004 record, which included singles Jump, The Show, Love Machine, I'll Stand By You and Wake Me Up, will be reissued on 3CD, vinyl and picture disc formats for the first time ever on March 8; and we're getting some ridiculously-exciting rarities and previously-unheard songs, too.
Said material includes the girls' lost cover of Chris Isaak's Wicked Game, originally due to be released as a single in May 2005, before being canned in favour of Long Hot Summer.
Oh, we're being fed. Look how fancy it is:
What Will The Neighbours Say?'s deluxe reissue will include the original 14-track UK version of the album, plus rarities including the group's cover of Chaka Khan's I'm Every Woman (recorded for ITV's 2004 Discomania special), the original 'electronic mix' of I'll Stand By You and previously-unreleased tracks Disco Bunny and Baby When You Go.
All this will be be available on sky blue vinyl, 3CD and direct to consumer picture disc variants for the first time.
