Nate Ruess has announced details of his debut solo album.

The Fun. frontman will release Grand Romantic on June 16 through Fueled By Ramen records.

The record will be preceded by the singer's new track Nothing Without Love, which is out on June 1.

Grand Romantic includes production by longtime collaborators Jeff Bhasker (Beyoncé, Drake) and Emile Haynie (Kanye West, Lana Del Rey). Lykke Li and Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer will also appear on the LP.

Ruess, who previously penned Pink's Grammy-nominated Just Give Me A Reason and Eminem's Headlights, is set to be honoured with the Songwriters Hall of Fame's Hal David Starlight Award, which highlights gifted songwriters making a significant impact in the music industry through their original songs.

As part of fun., Ruess topped the Official Singles Chart with We Are Young in 2012 and scored a Top 10 with Some Nights in the same year.
