Flo Rida set for sixth UK chart-topper with GDFR
Flo Rida is on track to score his first UK chart-topper in almost three years with GDFR.
GDFR, which features rapper , is taken from Flo Rida's new EP My House (released April 7) and is currently over 8,000 copies ahead of its nearest competitor - reigning Official Singles Chart Number 1 Years & Years’ King.
Flo Rida previously topped the chart with Right Round FT Kesha (2009), Club Can’t Handle Me FT David Guetta (2010), Good Feeling (2011), and as a guest feature on Alexandra Burke’s Bad Boys (2009) and Olly Murs’ Troublemaker (2012).
New at Number 3, Usher is set to score his 19th UK Top 10 this week with Juicy J collaboration I Don’t Mind, while former chart-topper Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like You Do is down two places to 4.
Rounding out today’s Top 5 is this year’s official Red Nose Day single, Sam Smith’s Lay Me Down FT John Legend (5). The song, which was released on Monday, lands at Number 5 today after jumping six places overnight. All proceeds from Lay Me Down go to Comic Relief.
New releases

Mumford & Sons are set to score their first Top 40 single in nearly three years with Believe (27), the lead single from newly-announced third studio album Wilder Mind.
Girl group G.R.L. are on track for their second Top 40 with Lighthouse (31). The track is the band’s first release since the death of band member Simone Battle last September.
Elsewhere, English MC Stormzy - who came third in this year’s BBC Sound Of poll - is new at 33 with Know Me From, trailed by Calvin Harris’ Pray To God FT Haim, up 10 places to 36.
Finally, French electro-house producer The Avener and Australian singer Phoebe Killdeer land at 38 with Fade Out Lines.
