Charli xcx has taken the lead for her second UK Number 1 single (and first as lead artist) with guess. The banger gets an extraordinary leg up thanks to the viral remix featuring Billie Eilish. Charli last topped the charts with Icona Pop on 2012’s I Love It.
Proof that there’s no stopping BRAT summer – Charli’s Apple is also predicted to enter the Top 10 for the first time on Friday (10), as 360 also rises to a new peak midweek (11).
Jordan Adetunji’s Kehlani could reach a new peak of Number 13 – thanks to the release of a new remix featuring…the actual Kehlani.
Adam Port, Stryv & KeineMusik’s Move is expected to jump three to Number 15, a brand new peak for the dance banger.
As UK audiences continue to enjoy Deadpool & Wolverine, *NSYNC’s Bye Bye Bye is on the way to jump back into the Top 20 (16) for the first time in 24 years. The song originally peaked at Number 3 in 2000.

i really think occ need to change their rules about remixes, especially because they keep getting bigger and bigger. the amount of artists that have been snubbed of top 10s and career bests is crazy and it doesn't look right on the charts because its not charli xcx's guess that'd be number 1 - it's the guess remix with billie eilish. makes no sense any other way imo.

8.7M on the AI version of the streams alone stat more signs of ACR/SCR and 0.5 divisions chart fiddling or fixing if this really happens but at the same time I want Carpenter gone so this one I don't care it's good to make the rubber bander gone if this fiddle happens.
At the same time it's an artist I'm iffy about though she's always been hit and miss for me since I've first heard her after I got back into the chart after decent older stuff slipped in the odd time.
But I'm really wanting to see Legendary Artists newer records in the chart rather than the classics by them hit it though as it's supposed to be the modern chart although I'm happy when an oldie is on it if it was the heritage tracks it would be better for the modern chart.
Everybody search for your favorite oldies but actually don't listen to that one click on the artist name and then listen to all their 2020-2024 tracks on your streaming platforms it is you that can make the difference to your modern chart instead of getting their oldies in get their current tracks in by giving those artists new tracks the big platform chance stream those tracks onto here rather than their classics or as well as get 2 tracks why not lol.

unfortunately the way OCC tracks remixes means billie won’t be credited as it just considers that as additional sales and streams to the original version to prevent a situation where an artists could have multiple versions of the same song in the charts (remixes, instrumentals, sped up versions etc)
