Beyoncé holding on strong for second week at Number 1 with TEXAS HOLD ‘EM
Plus Djo, Ella Henderson and The Last Dinner Party all approach the Top 10.
Beyoncé’s TEXAS HOLD ‘EM is storming ahead for a second week at Number 1 in the UK – leaving its nearest competition, Teddy Swims’ Lose Control tracking for Number 2.
Djo (aka Stranger Things actor Joe Keery) is expected to claim his first-ever UK Top 10 single this week, with End of Beginning up three from Friday (8). The 2022 track sees uplift thanks to a viral TikTok trend.
After weeks of upward momentum, Ella Henderson & Rudimental could finally leap into the Top 10 with Alibi (8).
As the 2024 BRITs approach, this year’s Rising Star winners The Last Dinner Party surge towards their first Top 10 entry, with sleeper hit debut single, Nothing Matters (10).
Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man’s Lovers in a Past Life looks to lift to a new peak, up eight (11).
Breaking into the Top 20 for the first time last week, Kygo & Ava Max's Whatever (16) aims for yet another new peak this week.
Central Cee's surprise new track, I Will, is cruising for a Number 18 debut.

charts need to be revisited with older track more than a year of release date need to be on a classic charts and the modern hits releases within the 12 month period staying with the current charts for fairness as many new releases weekly tracks most dont get in the charts Top 100 weekly as promo, playlist and radio airplay of classic hits played mainly.

Howdy y'all I'm back. Time to discuss the so-called 'hopefuls' for next week's chart-a-thon. Also, ACR is actually doing it's job. I can't find greedy or Prada anywhere! Three cheers for new music!
20. Tate McRae - exes (up 6)
So I guess this tune isn't going away in a hurry then. I feel like her announcing she'll be performing at the BRITs may have helped this go up.
19. Fred Again.. & baby keem - leavemealone (up 2)
No offence to the Fredster, but this song could do with a little bit of ACRing. I keep forgetting it's here half the time and it's really worrying.
18. Central Cee - I Will (NEW)
It's only taken 4 long years and a shipload of drill-filled braps that come and go as quickly as the seasons, but CC has finally mixed it up a lil'. He's gone afrobeat. The song is exactly how you'd expect it to go on that basis.
17. Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor (down 1)
Still here, despite what ACR has to say about the matter. Even though I would've preferred MGMT's Time To Pretend to be the breakout Saltburn smash.
16. Kygo & Ava Max - Whatever (up 4)
Can this stop climbing? You know, for my personal sakes?
15. Dua Lipa - Houdini (non-mover)
Her record company must be tearing their hair out trying to get her another chart-topper. Sorry lass, but it ain't gonna happen for a long while yet.
14. Kanye West/Ty Dolla $ign - CARNIVAL (down 1)
Well at least we know what the most iconic tune from Vultures 1 is now.
13. Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten (up 1)
That up 1 above this text is getting more soul-sucking by the week. Just give her a Top 10 hit you cowards.
12. Ariana Grande - yes, and? (down 5)
That new album can't come soon enough, can it. 😬
11. Calvin Harris & Rag'n'Bone Man - Lovers In A Past Life (up 8)
So much for this song flopping on the floor and dying, right guys?
10. The Last Dinner Party - Nothing Matters (up SEVENTEEN)
YEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH WOOOOOOOOOO- sorry, my bad. I got a little overexcited there. I've got no clue how this majestic beauty of a track has gone up this much. Physical release? Maybe, but I won't care at all. GO LDP!!
9. Ella Henderson ft. Rudimental - Alibi (up 3)
Yeah.... this felt slightly inevitable. >:(
8. Djo - End Of Beginning (up 3)
Also on the up is a beneficiary of the Stranger Things movement, Joe Keery, who may have shot himself in the foot despite recording the biggest jump from anonymity since Eliza Rose's B.O.T.A. appeared in the Top 10 out of nowhere. Eh. Prove me wrong.
7. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer (up 2)
Record books need to start taking note, 'cos it's soon to be 27 weeks among the best-sellers for this song. Not bad for a forgotten track from an album that wasn't even that good (I wasn't a fan of Lover personally. Mainly because I couldn't care less about it).
6. Dua Lipa - Training Season (down 2)
WELP.
5. YG Marley - Praise Jah In The Moonlight (up 1)
You know, I'm starting to think the Bob Marley biopic may be carrying this tune. Do you? 'Cause if that's the case, then I feel bad for YG, because he'll probably sink to the depths by July or somethin'.
4. Noah Kahan - Stick Season (up 1)
Still not leaving, despite offers to the contrary.
3. Benson Boone - Beautiful Things (down 1)
Well, he's down one, but I'm not sure whether or not that's a good thing.
2. Teddy Swims - Lose Control (up 1)
Nope, definitely not a good thing. Especially when this is what's replacing it. Can't The Last Dinner Party be here instead?
1. Beyoncé - TEXAS HOLD 'EM (2 weeks at No.1)
In the end though, expect Queen B to continue her harassment on the chickens that are the music stars in the charts, as country's finest achievement to date holds firm. Just don't mention Morgan Wallen. Or Oliver Anthony, Jason Aldean, and the other chart-rigging, speakerbox-deflating, music industry people making the Billboard Hot 100 irrelevant out there. That means you, K-POP folk.
Bye I guess.
(P.S. The OCC fixed the Yung Filly issue, so that's good. Also I'm still waiting to hear what our Eurovision entry sounds like. Even though Olly Alexander will most likely finish about 23rd despite what the bookies say, he's at least more tolerable than some of the other scamps we've had compete for us recently. But that's next week.)

Good to see 'End Of Beginning' and 'Nothing Matters' in the Top 10! 😊
