Feeder's Grant Nicholas revealed last night that the Welsh band have a new album on the way, on the latest edition of The Record Club with Bowers & Wilkins.

Talking to Jess Iszatt, Grant said that following the end of the group's 11th studio album Tornado, they have knowingly left it so people are wanting more...because their 12th album is finished!

"We were originally going to go and do a mini-album," Grant said. "I guess you could call it an EP. Our first ever release was one called Swim, it was a really popular record.

"We were going to do a trilogy of three mini-albums. That's how this record started, and then I [began to think these tracks] could make a nice double album. Torpedo is going to be the first half, the second will hopefully be out in a year's time. We've finished most of it, I've actually written some new tracks too."

Torpedo is currently tracking to debut within the Top 5 of the Official Albums Chart this week, which would potentially mark the band's landmark tenth Top 10 record.

Designed as a book club for albums, The Record Club in association with Bowers & Wilkins is a bi-monthly livestream, hosted by BBC Music’s Jess Iszatt, on Facebook Live, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube Live every other Wednesday.

Fans are encouraged to order the selected new-release album from their favourite local record shop either in-store or on home delivery, listen to it in full, then tune into the broadcast armed with their questions for the artist and a chance to win a prize.
