Fatboy Slim will join The Record Club for a Record Store Day special

The RSD-exclusive Everybody Loves A Remix vinyl contains six of his classic party starting tracks.

Fatboy Slim has been announced as the very special guest for The Record Club's Record Store Day Special. 

Joining in with the Record Store Day 2024 celebrations, Fatboy Slim (real name Norman Cook) will be issuing the compilation Everybody Loves A Remix (which features remixes of six of his classic tracks) onto vinyl for the first time ever.

The collection will include superstar DJ Calvin Harris's remix of Eat Sleep Rave Repeat, again available on vinyl for the first time.

One of the most important times of year for fans of vinyl and independent record shops, Record Store Day 2024 will be taking place on April 20. 

Some of the most exciting exclusive drops that will be available in independent record shops up and down the country include special pressing's of Lily Allen's influential second album, It's Not Me, It's You, which birthed the UK Number 1 single The Fear and a brand-new vinyl pressing of The 1975's 10th anniversary gig in Gorilla, Manchester where they played their self-titled debut album front-to-back in front of an intimate audience.

Fatboy Slim will be beaming in live on The Record Club to talk to BBC Radio 1's Jess Iszatt from 6pm tomorrow (Wednesday April 17).

Fans who tune in to the live stream with their questions will not only be in with a chance of getting their question answered by Fatboy Slim himself, but they could also win a set of Bowers & Wilkins headphones.

Designed as a book club for albums, The Record Club in association with Bowers & Wilkins is a bi-monthly livestream, hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Jess Iszatt, on Facebook Live, Twitch, Twitter and YouTube Live every other Wednesday. The Record Club is also now available to watch/listen back in full as a podcast on Spotify.

Fans are encouraged to order the selected album from their favourite local record shop either in-store or on home delivery, listen to it in full, then tune into the broadcast armed with their questions for the artist and a chance to win a prize.
