Every presenter of The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1
The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1 is one of the institutions of British broadcasting; and the only place each week to discover the UK's Official Number 1 single and album.
Ever since October 1, 1967, the Official Singles Chart has been presented on the station, whether that be under the guise of Pick of the Pops, Tom Browne's Solid Gold 60 show, or in the current format of the Official Chart.
17 presenters have been the face of the Top 40 over the years, including 15 men, three women, and two duos. The show has also played host to fair few guest presenters, including royalty, who have all had a go at the Top 10 countdown (who can forget Duchess of Cambridge Kate's announcement of Drake's Passionfruit at Number 5? Or the time Jameela Jamil presented The Saturdays with their Number 1 award dressed as a chicken?).
As we welcome Jack Saunders into the Official Charts family as the next host of The Official Chart, here's a look at every presenter of The Official Chart on BBC Radio 1.

first of all congratulations to Jack Saunders, he a great one for BBC Radio 1, as recent months sitting in for scott mills, i have been impressed So Far! my honest only problem is with everything moving times, changing and shifted for the 21st century in the 2020's era and for the 70th year anniversary, why would the charts stick and stay at 4pm/1600 hours - 6pm/18:00 when you can have more listeners on prime time for radio of 6am to 9am, millions more listerners to the morning shows and you get a spell in the evenings from 7pm. miss those days Chris Moyles where he done a catchup morning Top 10 recap of the singles and played the #1. some people knew the charts better what was the current charts faster in the mornings than not listening to sunday afternoon as busy or waiting for Top Of The Pops nearly next week.
