Eurovision 2024: Listen to Olly Alexander's UK entry Dizzy
The day is finally here, people. Olly Alexander's Dizzy, the United Kingdom's official Eurovision Song Contest 2024 entry song, has landed.
With the Danny L. Harle-produced track, Olly will be hoping to take that coveted Eurovision trophy at the 2024 Grand Final in Malmö, Sweden on Saturday May 11.
He'll be hoping to continue the Official Singles Chart success of the UK's recent entries, too. In 2022, Sam Ryder's SPACE MAN just lost out on Number 1 to Harry Styles' As It Was (2) while, last year, Mae Muller made the Top 10 with I Wrote A Song (9).
Last year's winning song for Sweden, Loreen's Tattoo, peaked at Number 2 in the UK.
Could Dizzy be a future chart-topper? Have a listen below.

Speaking exclusively to The Euro Trip podcast in January, BBC Studios’ Eurovision Executive Producer, Lee Smithurst, and BBC Music’s Commissioning Executive, Will Wilkin explained that the team are keen for Dizzy to see commercial success; revealing the ultimate goal is to secure a Number 1 single.
Will Wilkin said: "Our ambition is to win and for the single to go to Number 1, and for it to be another watershed moment for Eurovision for the UK.
"You have to make peace with what the worst case scenario is to reach the best.
"Everyone that enters Eurovision is aware of what the worst case scenario can be, but I believe this will be another huge growth spike in terms of what Eurovision means.
"We can measure that in a million different ways if we want to, but really we’re going there to win it.
"And we are going there to win it with a single that is an incredibly commercially successful single."

What a big lettdown, this is a mediocre song at best, it'll never make a dent on the charts and it would be seriously dismissed at Eurovision.
All the anticipation they created was a big mistake, specially as they didn't have the product to back up that build up.
Nil points for the UK are clear on the horizon
Shoogle
After all the build up, I find this disappointing. The vocals are weak against the music. Will probably do OK in the chart for a few weeks, but will soon be forgotten.
