Emma Bunton has revealed whether the Spice Girls will perform their solo material on their upcoming tour - and it's not great news for solo Spice fans.

Discussing the upcoming tour, which kicks off in May, on Graham Norton's show on BBC Radio 2, Emma said: "At the moment we're in the middle of creating the show. I was literally with Geri in her kitchen yesterday and it's so lovely because we get to do the setlist and what we want to do for [the] songs."

On whether each member will perform their solo material during the show, she admitted: "I'm not sure there's going to be enough room for solo stuff. Oh no, they're going to go mad at me."

Graham suggested one extended solo medley, with each Spice Girl stepping up to perform a section of their biggest solo hit, though Emma seemed reluctant.

Fans who went to the group's 2007 reunion tour may remember that each member performed a solo track. Emma sang Maybe, Geri went for It's Raining Men, Mel C performed I Turn To You, Mel B sang for Are You Gonna Go My Way, and Victoria opted to put on a catwalk show instead, strutting her stuff to Madonna's Like A Virgin and Rupaul's Supermodel (You Better Work).

Asked if the group were planning to release new music in line with the tour, she said: "No, that's not happening. We're so busy with the tour. There's other things going on - the animation is looking very exciting, which we're all working on together. Mind you, they take years, don't they?"

More Spice trivia for fans: Emma also revealed during the interview that Let Love Lead The Way - from their Forever album - is her favourite Spice album track. It was technically a single as a double A-side with 2000's Holler, but we'll let her have it.

"It's a point when I worked with the producer and I really was able to sing out," she said, "It feels like a strong song that I vocally worked quite hard on."

The Spice Girls' reunion tour kicks off in Dublin on May 24 and runs for 13 shows, finishing with three nights at London's Wembley Stadium.
