The 2013 MTV European Music Awards took place at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam in the Netherlands yesterday (Sunday, November 10). Eminem (pictured on stage above) was the big winner on the night, taking home the EMAs for Best Hip-hop act and the EMA Global Icon award. He is now the most awarded artist in the history of the European Music Awards with a total of 15 trophies to his name.
The US rapper, who was celebrating his latest album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, topping the UK’s Official Albums Chart last night, performed his hits Survival and Rap God at the ceremony.
Other big winners on the night included Katy Perry (who picked up her first Best Female EMA), while Miley Cyrus won her first ever EMA taking home the Best Video gong for Wrecking Ball. Bruno Mars scored the Best Song award for Locked Out Of Heaven, while Justin Bieber held onto his Best Male EMA for a fourth consecutive year.
The 2013 MTV EMAs will be broadcast tonight (Monday, November 11) on MTV at 6:30pm, and repeated tomorrow at 11pm. The full list of winners is as follows:
