Ellie Goulding confirmed to perform at MTV Movie Awards
The Burn singer will play at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards this weekend.
Ellie Goulding will perform her track Beating Heart, which is featured on the soundtrack for Divergent, at the MTV Movie Awards.
Ellie is no stranger to her songs appearing in movies. Her track Mirror is featured in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, which currently sits at Number 2 in the Official Video Chart, Lights is featured in 2012’s Spring Breakers and Starry Eyed is in 2010's Kick-Ass.
Joining Ellie on the awards’ bill are Eminem and Rihanna, who will be joining forces to perform their 2013 Official Singles Chart Number 1 smash, The Monster.
This will be the first time either of the artists have performed at the awards in 5 years, with Eminem last appearing in 2009 performing We Made You/ Crack A Bottle (both tracks charted in the UK, at Numbers 4 and 3 respectively) and Rihanna, last taking the stage all the way back in 2007 with Umbrella (…ella ella ella).
Also joining the roster, will be Zedd, who scored a UK Official Singles Chart Number 2 back in February with Stay The Night FT Hayley Williams. Zedd will be joined by Miriam Bryant and Matthew Koma for a performance of Find You, which also features on the Divergent soundtrack.
The awards, which will take place this Sunday (April 13), will be aired in the UK on Monday (April 14) on MTV. Host Conan O’Brien will be joined by a plethora of famous guest presenters including; Seth Rogan, Amanda Seyfried, Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5’s Adam Levine.
