Ella Henderson & Rudimental's ALIBI returns to Number 1 on Official Trending Chart
Today, Ella Henderson and Rudimental's ALIBI returns to the top of the Official Trending Chart, ahead of an expected rise into the Top 10 this Friday.
ALIBI - which samples Coolio ft. LV's 1995 Number 1 classic Gangsta's Paradise, one of the best-selling singles of all time in the UK - has been a particularly slow-burning hit on the Official Singles Chart this year, but this week could finally be the week it breaks into the Top 10. So far, the track has reached a peak of Number 11.
Elsewhere on the Official Trending Chart this week, we've got brand-new entries from Charli XCX, who launches her sixth studio album Brat with the glitchy Von dutch, and Olly Alexander's much-anticipated Eurovision entry for the UK in 2024, Dizzy, which has been co-written and produced by Danny L. Harle (Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek and Dua Lipa).
There are other new entries this week from Twenty One Pilots and their comeback single, Overcompensate, Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus's funky team-up Doctor (Work It Out), Fred again..'s brand new track stayinit with Lil Yachty and Overmono and RAYE's perky Worth It., following her record-breaking win at this year's BRIT Awards, where she walked away with six awards in total, the most for any artist in a single night in the awards' history.
