Ed Sheeran to release concert film Jumpers for Goalposts

The film will be shown in cinemas across the UK next month.

Missed Ed Sheeran’s three-night sold out stint at Wembley Stadium back in July? Well lucky for you, the Thinking Out Loud singer is releasing a concert film titled Jumpers For Goalposts next month.

The film - executive produced by Stuart Camp and directed by Paul Dugdale - will include clips from the shows alongside a glimpse into Ed’s life on the road and will be premiered worldwide on October 22. Fans will also be treated to a live performance from Sheeran beamed live to cinemas around the world from London’s Leicester Square.

Jumpers for Goalposts gets its worldwide premiere on October 22, when a live performance from Sheeran will be beamed via satellite along with the film from London's Leicester Square to thousands of cinema screens around the world.

Speaking about the name of the film, Sheeran explains it’s titled Jumpers For Goalposts "Because we keep moving them."

“When you play acoustic guitar and you start off on a pub circuit, your dreams don’t really stretch that far” he adds.

Tickets for participating cinemas will go on sale from September 24.
