Ed Sheeran holds on to Official Irish Albums Chart top spot, NF claims the highest new entry

Chance the Rapper's debut album also makes a Top 20 debut.

Ed Sheeran’s No.6 Collaborations Project holds firm at Number 1 on this week’s Official Irish Albums Chart, claiming a third consecutive week at the top.

Meanwhile, NF score the week’s highest new entry. The Christian rapper’s fifth studio album The Search lands at Number 8, becoming his first Top 50 entry in the process. NF reached Number 4 on the Official Irish Singles Chart in 2017 with Let You Down.

Jax Jones’ Snacks EP hits a new peak position for the third week in a row, rising to Number 15, and Chance the Rapper’s debut album The Big Day - featuring uncredited appearances from Shawn Mendes, Nicki Minaj and John Legend - is new at Number 18.

Further down, Fontaines D.C.’s debut album Dogrel returns to the Top 50 at 39 following their Mercury Prize nomination, and finally, YBN Cordae’s debut album The Lost Boy finds itself at 49.
