Ed Sheeran announces The Mathematics Tour for 2022, including thee shows at Wembley Stadium
Ed Sheeran is heading back out on the road in 2022 following the announcement of his new stadium tour.
The first leg of the + - = ÷ x tour - pronounced The Mathematics Tour - launches in Cork, Ireland on April 28 2022. Tickets go on general sale from September 25 at 8am BST in Northern Ireland, and 9am BST in England, Wales and Scotland. More information can be found on Ed's official website.
Fans can expect to hear Ed's classics plus songs from his upcoming album =, including Number 1 smash Bad Habits. The track recently earned Ed his 52nd week at the top across his catalogue - only Elvis Presley and The Beatles have achieved more overall weeks at the summit.
A statement promises "a new production set-up with Ed’s staging in the round, surrounded by the crowd in each stadium."
The UK dates announced so far include stadium shows in Belfast, Cardiff, Sunderland, Manchester, Glasgow and London. The tour then extends to Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Austria and Switzerland.
The show follows Ed's record-breaking Divide tour, which ran between 2017 - 2019 and officially became the most-attended and highest-grossing tour, ever, by the time of its completion.
