Drake’s For All The Dogs becomes his sixth UK Number 1 album

Drake's delayed eighth album is a chart-topper straight out of the gate.

Drake debuts at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart with For All The Dogs, marking his sixth UK Number 1 album, and second in just over a year. 

For All The Dogs joins Drizzy’s other chart-toppers; Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020), Certified Lover Boy (2021) and Her Loss with 21 Savage (2022).  

North-West London rapper Nines secures his second Top 2 album of 2023 with Crop Circle 3 entering at Number 2, matching the previous peak of Crop Circle 2 earlier this year. It becomes Nines’s fifth consecutive Top 5 album in the UK; also following 2017’s One Foot Out (4), 2018’s Crop Circle (5) and 2020’s chart-topping Crabs In A Bucket (1).

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters celebrates the legacy of one of the greatest British rock records ever made with The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux, debuting at Number 4. The Dark Side Of The Moon originally peaked at Number 2 in 1973 and is one of the best-selling albums of all time in the UK. 

Big congratulations are in order for Joel Corry, who secures his first Top 5 placement on the Official Albums Chart with Another Friday Night. Joel’s debut album, originally released as an EP earlier this year, rises a massive 32 places to Number 5 today. Read more about Another Friday Night here

US indie darling Sufjan Stevens claims his second Top 10 LP (and first in 8 years) with the emotional Javelin at Number 7. In 2015, Carrie & Lowell debuted and peaked at Number 5.  

Further down, Lewisham rapper Slim’s Still Working 2 enters in at Number 22, his second Top 40 album and highest charting to date. Noah Kahan’s third studio album Stick Season rises 20 places back into the Top 40 at Number 28, following Olivia Rodrigo’s viral cover of its title track for her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session.  

And finally, The Darkness’s 20th anniversary re-issue of their debut album Permission To Land re-enters the chart at Number 31, having originally peaked at Number 1 in 2003.
