Drake set to dominate with sixth Number 1 album For All The Dogs
Drake is set to dominate the Official Albums Chart this week, with For All The Dogs on track to become his sixth UK Number 1 record.
The delayed eighth solo studio album from Aubrey Graham is on course to debut at the top of the chart this Friday, securing him his second consecutive Number 1 LP in less than a year, following 2022’s collaborative album Her Loss with 21 Savage.
Drake has previously topped the UK’s Official Albums Chart with Views (2016), Scorpion (2018), Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020) and Certified Lover Boy (2021).
Heading for a Number 2 debut is Nines with Crop Circle 3, which could become his second consecutive Top 10 album of the year following Crop Circle 2, which peaked at Number 2 in May.
Roger Waters’ The Dark Side of the Moon Redux is looking at a Number 3 debut. The special re-issue celebrates the legacy of Pink Floyd’s magnum opus Dark Side Of The Moon, which peaked at Number 2 in 1973 before going on to become one of the UK’s best-selling albums of all time.
American indie singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens aims for his highest-peaking album in the UK of his career with Javelin, at Number 4 midweek. He previously secured a Top 10 placement in 2015 with Carrie & Lowell, which peaked at Number 6.
Joel Corry’s debut album Another Friday Night (6) looks to launch into the Top 10 for the first time following its official release, having previously been available to stream as an EP of previous singles including the Number 1 hit Head & Heart. Read the Official Chat with Joel Corry here.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, The Darkness celebrate the 20th anniversary of their chart-topping 2003 debut record Permission To Land, on course to land at Number 7 this week.
Further down, Oxfordshire indie trio Stornoway could earn their third UK Top 20 album, with comeback LP Dig The Mountain! expected to debut at Number 14.
South London MC Slim is looking to hit a new career high with Still Working 2 a new entry midweek at Number 16. He earned his first Top 40 album in 2019 with Still Working.
Blues legend Joe Bonamassa’s Blues Deluxe: Volume 2 could also land a Top 20 debut (19), which would become his 17th Top 40 album if it hangs on.
Finally, Noah Kahan’s 2022 album Stick Season is surging back toward the Top 40 (37), up 11 places midweek boosted by Olivia Rodrigo covering the album's title track in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge last week.
