Doja Cat is predicted to leapfrog Olivia Rodrigo to claim the UK’s Number 1 single with Paint The Town Red. It would become her first chart-topper.

Paint The Town Red reached a brand new peak of Number 2 last week. The track is the second single taken from Doja's forthcoming new LP Scarlet, which sees her pivot away from a pop aesthetic to hard-edged rap.

The American multi-hyphenate has claimed a total of four Top 10 singles, also including Say So (2), Kiss Me More with SZA (3) and You Right with The Weeknd (9).

Calvin Harris & Sam Smith’s Desire could climb into the Top 5 for the first time (4), while Fred again..’s adore u is looking to become the 2023 Mercury Prize-shortlisted DJ and producer’s first Top 10 single as a solo artist.

Kylie Minogue's Tension is predicted to debut at Number 14 on Friday; potentially the week’s highest new entry. It would become the pop princess’s 53rd Top 40 entry to date.
