Django Unchained spends second week at Number 1
Quentin Tarantino`s star-studded western hangs on to the top of the Official Video Chart.
Django Unchained, starring the likes of Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington, proves an early summer smash as it hangs on to the top spot of the Official Video Chart for a second week.
Tarantino`s western epic went straight in at Number 1 last week, selling nearly a quarter of a million copies during its first week on sale.
Les Miserables spends a second week at Number 2, while Gangster Squad - featuring Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone - is a new entry at Number 3.
The Last Stand, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville is another new entry at Number 4, while The Hobbit – An Unexpected Journey hangs on at Number 5 in its 8th week on the Official Video Chart.
New Entries
In addition to Gangster Squad and The Last Stand, there are six new entries on this week`s Official Video Chart.
The revamped Texas Chainsaw is at Number 7 while comedy Parental Guidance starring Billy Crystal and Bette Midler comes in at Number 9. The tenth anniversary release of Finding Nemo sees the Disney classic making a return to the Official Video Chart at Number 11.
Halo 4 – Forward Until Dawn is at Number 13, while Stranded is at Number 17 while Doctor Who –Series 7 Pt. 2 is at Number 20. Robosapien completes this week`s Official Video Chart new entries at Number 39.
