Despacito is on course to reclaim the Official Singles Chart top spot for a 10th non-consecutive week
Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber are set to reclaim the top spot on the Official Singles Chart this week for a third stint at the top.
Despacito leads today's Official Chart Update and is eyeing up its tenth non-consecutive week at Number 1. The last time an artist had a track be Number 1 on three separate occasions? You guessed it - Justin Bieber. What Do You Mean enjoyed three different stretches at the peak of the Official Singles Chart over September and October 2015.
Last week's Number 1, Wild Thoughts by DJ Khaled, Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, slips to Number 2, while another huge collaboration, Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Katy Perry and Big Sean's Feels is up one place to Number 3. Little Mix's Power completes the Top 5 today, up three to a potential new peak (5).

Three Linkin Park tracks also feature in the Update Top 40 this week, the highest charting being In The End at Number 9. Get the full details on those songs, plus the huge impact the band are having on the Official Albums Chart following the death of their lead singer Chester Bennington.
New entries and high climbers
Rita Ora's Your Song has risen one rank to Number 6 following her performance on the final of BBC One's Pitch Battle, and Louis Tomlinson is heading for a Top 10 debut on Friday's chart; Back To You, his collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals, starts at Number 8.
Subeme La Radio, Enrique Iglesias' latest track featuring Sean Paul and X Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry, is coasting towards a Top 20 finish at Number 16, and Dua Lipa's New Rules continues to leap up the chart, racing 13 slots to Number 24 today.

I really hope Linkin Park can get to the top spot, since aside from In The End there is one good song in the top 10 (Pretty Girl) with the main contenders being either terrible or stale. Really sad to hear of Chester's death. RIP.
I Am A Stegosaurus
For the love of God. The whole top 5 besides Feels, and the rest of the top 10 is meh at best with the glaring exception of In The End (really happy to see this). Not exactly sad to see Rain and Strip That Down taking major bumps though.

Still really shocked to hear the news of Chester Bennington's death, but I'm pleased to see all of the tributes that are pouring in for him & that 'In The End' could potentially re-enter at #9.
I also like that 'Back To You' & 'Subeme La Radio' are looking set for Top 20 debuts & that: 'Feels', 'Power' & 'Your Song' could all hit new peaks on Friday.
I wouldn't mind seeing 'Despacito' going back up to the top either! :)
I Am A Stegosaurus
I certainly would mind Despacito getting the top spot again. The Bieber obsession needs to end
Piran
To be honest, 'Despacito' deserved to get the #1 last week.
I might like 'Wild Thoughts' a lot, but 'Despacito' being at the top would've been more fair, as it was higher in both sales & streaming.
By the way, are you a fan of Linkin Park's music?
I Am A Stegosaurus
Yeah, I do like them, I know many songs by them and most are good, although One More Light was disappointing and generic.
Piran
'One More Light' was just average to me, but I liked 'Heavy' more than a lot of people did.
I Am A Stegosaurus
The only song I like on the album is the new single 'Talking To Myself'. Some others are okay but Heavy and Good Goodbye are pure IMO
Piran
I think a lot more people appreciate 'Heavy' now when you listen back to the lyrics & consider what happened last week.
I Am A Stegosaurus
True, that was me for the title track personally
