Dannii Minogue, Martin Kemp to judge on Gary Barlow's Let It Shine BBC show
The contestants will need to have a little patience... and lots of talent.
The BBC have announced details of their latest singing show which is set to rival The Voice UK's first year on ITV.
Let It Shine is a new musical talent show led by Gary Barlow and aims to launch the careers of five young singers and dancers hoping to get their big break on the theatre stage. Five men will be chosen as winners and will secure lead roles in the upcoming musical The Band, which features the hits of Take That.

Who will be doing the choosing? Well, the public will have their say in the final stages of the competition, while a panel of judges will whittle the hopefuls down in the earlier rounds of the competition. Assisting former X Factor head judge Gary will be Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp and another past X Factor star, Dannii Minogue. With 45 Top 10 singles between them, that's quite the panel!
“I'm so excited to be returning to the UK and joining the judging panel of Let It Shine," explained Dannii. "To be a performer you must have a burning desire to perform, then you train at all the skills you need to shine. This show gives everyone that chance. I can't wait!”
Let It Shine will also feature guest judges in various rounds of the competition, with Glee's Amber Riley confirmed as a panelist in the show's first stage. Graham Norton and current (soon to be former) Great British Bake Off host Mel Giedroyc will act as presenters.
Rehearsals for The Band start in Summer 2017, with a nationwide UK tour commencing shortly after until June 2018. Let It Shine is expected to air in early 2017.
