Daft Punk look set to hold onto the Number 1 spot on the Official Albums Chart for a second week in a row.
The French duo shot to the top of the chart on Sunday with their fourth album, Random Access Memories. It became the fastest selling album of 2013 so far, shifting a staggering 165,000 copies during its first week on sale, beating the previous record of 121,000 set by Michael Buble’s To Be Loved back in April.
Rod Stewart’s Time is holding firm at Number 2 on today’s Official Albums Chart Update, while folk singer/songwriter Laura Marling claims this week’s highest new entry with Once I Was An Eagle (3).
