Daft Punk have released Get Lucky, the first single from their upcoming fourth album Random Access Memories.

Daft Punk have made their new single, Get Lucky, available for digital download.

The track, which is the first single from the French duo’s upcoming fourth studio album Random Access Memories, was released at midnight this morning (Friday, April 19). While it is expected to make a huge impact on Sunday’s Official Singles Chart, its time of release means that it’s too early for Get Lucky's sales to appear on this morning’s Official Charts Company’s sales flash.

Get Lucky features vocals from N.E.R.D’s Pharrell Williams and Chic guitarist / vocalist Nile Rodgers.

According to NME.com, Williams revealed that he met “the robots” at a party thrown by Madonna.

“They were just like, 'We're doing something',” he explains. “I said, 'Whatever you guys need, I'll do it. I'll play tambourine.' It feels like the only click track they have is the human heartbeat, and that makes it really interesting because these are robots."

Random Access Memories will be released in the UK on May 20.
