Clean Bandit’s Rather Be is the most listened to track in the UK right now, ending Pitbull and Ke$ha’s three-week-stand at Number 1 on the Official Streaming Chart with Timber.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And, after three weeks at Number 1, Pitbull and Ke$ha’s Timber has finally been sent tumbling from the top of the UK’s Official Streaming Chart!
The US duo, who fall two places to Number 3 today, have been replaced at the chart summit by Clean Bandit’s massive-selling smash, Rather Be FT Jess Glynne. The track, which is currently Number 1 on the sales-based Official Singles Chart, was the highest new entry on last week’s Official Streaming Chart, debuting at Number 11.
The news was broken on YouTube channel Transmitter’s new weekly show, Live @ 5 by presenter James Hill. Every Monday at 5pm, James will be counting down the UK's most listened-to tracks of the week, so make sure you tune in!
Spending its sixth week in the Official Streaming Chart Top 10, Pharrell Williams’ Happy is a nonmover at Number 2. Avicii’s Hey Brother slides one place to Number 4, while Jason Derulo’s Trumpets completes this week’s Top 5.
New Entries And High Climbers
Will.I.Am, Miley Cyrus and friends’ Feelin’ Myself is this week’s highest new entry on the Official Streaming Chart. The track, which is the first taster of the upcoming deluxe edition of Will’s latest album #willpower, is new in at 38 today.
Katy B’s Crying For No Reason debuts at 51, while Kristen Bell and Agatha Lee Monn’s Do You Want To Build A Snowman from the soundtrack to Disney’s new animated epic, Frozen, enters at 79, and Gorgon City and MNEK’s Ready For Your Love debuts at 81.
This week’s new entries are completed by Demi Lovato’s Let It Go (83), Bombay Bicycle Club’s Luna (91) and Ellie Goulding’s Goodness Gracious (96).
This week’s highest climber is The Vamps’ Wild Heart, up 48 places to 26. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ White Walls soars 37 places to 62, and Tine Tempah and Labrinth’s Lover Not A Fighter climbs 31 places to Number 61.
