Clean Bandit look set to spend a third week at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart this weekend with Rather Be FT Jess Glynne.
According to the Official Charts Company’s latest sales data, the London-based classical crossover quartet are nearly 11,000 copies ahead of their closest rival, Dibby Dibby Sound by DJ Fresh, Jay Fay and Ms Dynamite (Number 2).
Dibby Dibby Sound , which is set to become this week’s highest new entry, sees DJ Fresh teaming up with 19-year-old US DJ and producer Jay Fay and UK MC Ms Dynamite. While DJ Fresh is no stranger to the Official Singles Chart, having scored the UK’s first dubstep Number 1 with Louder FT Sian Evans and the UK’s first drum ‘n’ bass Number 1 with Hot Right Now FT Rita Ora, should it maintain its momentum, Dibby Dibby Sound will become Jay Fay’s first UK hit, and the highest charting single of Ms Dynamite’s career so far.
Pharrell Williams’ Happy holds firm at Number 3, while today’s Top 5 is completed by Will.I.Am’s Feelin’ Myself FT Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and French Montana (down two places to Number 4) and Pitbull’s Timber FT Ke$ha (up one place to Number 5).
High Climbers
Following the release of its racy music video last week, Shakira and Rihanna’s Can’t Remember To Forget You climbs 23 places to Number 15 on the Official Singles Chart Update.
However, this week’s highest climber looks set to actually be another Rihanna track: RiRi’s What Now shoots up a massive 33 places to Number 20 today. The single originally peaked at Number 25 in November of last year. The track is being used by ITV in their latest 'Where Drama Lives' TV advert.
