Charli xcx joined by Troye Sivan (and Dua Lipa!) for Talk talk remix

Talk to me in French! Talk to me in Spanish! Charli xcx waves goodbye to BRAT summer and kicks in BRAT autumn with the release of a brand new Talk talk remix, featuring Troye Sivan, with a little cameo from Dua Lipa.

It's the latest track from her sixth studio album to get a snazzy remix - following Von ducth (adding AG Cook and starlet Addison Rae), girl, so confusing (with Lorde), 360 (with Robyn and Yung Lean) and the chart-topping Guess remix with Billie Eilish. 

Talk Talk is one of the most energetic cuts from brat, and details Charli's nervousness over connecting with The 1975's George Daniel at 2019's NME awards, before they officially became a couple (this year, Charli confirmed she and Daniel were now engaged).

Troye's inclusion on the track is serendipitous - we're just days away from the two artists linking up for the Sweat tour, a joint jaunt across the US (Charli will visit the UK in the winter for a series of stadium shows, but sadly Troye won't be present).

Queen of vacations Dua Lipa also makes a fleeting appearence on the remix, although she's not an officially credited artist, speaking both French and Spanish on a voice note. At least her Duolingo (or should that be DUAlingo, haha) streak won't be broken!

Talk talk is the first release from Charli following the Guess remix featuring Billie Eilish, which debuted at Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart. It became Charli's second UK Number 1 single, and her first as lead artist. 

Much has been made of BRAT summer, the total takeover in conversation from Charli's chaotic club record. To date, no less than five tracks from the LP have hit the UK Top 40 - Guess featuring Billie (1), viral TikTok hit Apple (8), It girl anthem 360 (11), stylish lead single Von dutch (26) and girl, so confusing (28).

Upon BRAT's initial release, the original version of Talk talk peaked at Number 47 in the UK, although you can expect it to hit a brand new peak next week.
