Charli XCX’s collaboration with Rina Sawayama, Beg For You, arrives this Thursday (January 27).

The new track is the latest offering from Charli's fifth major label effort, Crash, which is arriving March 18.

Beg For You has already been teased on Charli's TikTok page, where she's revealed some behind the scenes footage with Rina, as well as confirming that the track contains a sample of September's 00s dance hit, Cry For You.

Originally released in 2008, Cry For You peaked at Number 5 on the Official Singles Chart, and has in recent years found new life as a memeable clip on sites like Twitter. (You know the one - you'll never see me agaaaaaain).

See the teaser for Beg For You below.

So far, Charli has released two singles from Crash, which is being promoted as her final release under her original contract with major label Atlantic. The record was teased with the short but sweet Good Ones (which peaked just outside the UK Top 40, at Number 44) and the new wave-influenced New Shapes with alt-pop icons Christine And The Queens and Caroline Polachek.

Crash can be found as one of our Albums To Look Out For in 2020.

This is also the first major release by Rina Sawayama this year so far. The Japenese-British indie-pop starlet was named as one of the BRITs Rising Star Nominees for 2021 alongside eventual winner Griff and Pa Salieu.

She bookended 2021 with collaborations with both Lady Gaga and Elton John as work continues on her second album, which is apparently heavily influenced by the innovative sonic stylings of Girls Aloud's back catalogue.
