Cel replaces Marvin Humes in the V Room for the first series on ITV.
Congratulations to our very good friend Cel Spellman who has been announced as the latest edition to The Voice UK.
The singing contest will air its first series on ITV next year, with Cel taking over from Marvin Humes in the V Room as the Exclusive V Reporter.
Cel expressed his excitement at his new role in an official statement: "Hosting The Voice UK’s V Room is a very exciting prospect – as a fan of music, I’m looking forward to working with four of the best in the business, and bringing an immersive experience to the fans."

The V Room's dynamic is a lot different for the upcoming sixth season of The Voice UK. Instead of being an additional feature within The Voice UK's primary programming, The V Room will be exclusive to the ITV Hub, plus social channels like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, as well as The Voice App.
Cel was recently seen in ITV's revival of Cold Feet, but most will know him as a presenter on BBC Radio 1 and as the host of the CBBC Official Chart Show, broadcast every Friday from 7pm. Watch the latest episode here.
In addition to the exciting news of Cel's acquisition, it has also been announced that this year's winner of The Voice UK will sign with Polydor Records, home to Madonna, Take That and Black Eyed Peas, a band that coach will.i.am may know a thing or two about.
It was recently confirmed that Sir Tom Jones will return to The Voice UK after one season away. Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale will be joining the panel.
