BTS's JIN has announced details of his debut solo album Happy, set to drop on November 15 2024.

The LP follows the release of JIN's latest single Super Tuna, and will see the K-pop idol explore his 'journey to true happiness.'

On the six-track record, Jin 'reveals his honest thoughts and feelings on what happiness means to him in the hopes that those who listen to the album will also find joy.'

An official statement adds that 'Happy is a genuine, heartwarming gesture that invites listeners to join him on a journey to find happiness, offering them a sense of strength and comfort in their day-to-day lives.'

Last month, JIN told Weverse Magazine that he'd be working on his first full-length solo project, saying: "[The BTS members] all finished making their own albums before enlisting.

"That made me think I better not wait too long to release mine after his is out, so I’m working to get it done fast."

In 2022, JIN scored his first solo Official Singles Chart entry with The Astronaut (61), co-written with Coldplay.

It marked the second time JIN had teamed up with the chart-topping group, having previously collaborated on Coldplay's 2021 Top 5 hit My Universe alongside his BTS bandmates.
